Tips, Tricks, and Techniques with DDStamps

Join me for a live online class where I will teach tips, tricks, and techniques using Stampin’ Up! products. This month’s tutorial uses The Nests of Winter suite Host Code for August 2024: G622X7NA

Here are the projects I made during the live event

Measurements:  

  • Mossy Meadow: 8-1/” x 5 1/2”, scored at 2-1/8” & 4 1/4”
  • Night of Navy: 6-1/2” x 4-1/4”, scored at 3-1/4”  
  • Very Vanilla: 3” x 4” 
  • Take to the Sky DSP: 4” x 5-1/4”; 3” x 4”; 3” x 5-1/4” and a tag

Instructions:

  1. Fold the Mossy Meadow card base on the score lines and burnish with a bone folder. (mountain and then valley fold).
  2. Adhere the 4” x 5-1/4” DSP to the inside of the card.
  3. Fold the Night of Navy cardstock in half and burnish on the score line.
  4. Adhere this piece to the inside of the card base, centering in the layer of DSP, with the score line on the right side.
  5. Adhere the 3” x 5-1/4” piece of DSP to the left side panel of card front.
  6. Adhere the 3” x 4” piece of DSP to the card front of the Night of Navy card.
  7. Cut a tag from the sheet of DSP.
  8. Punch a hole in the top of the tag (1/8” punch or Take Your Pick Tool)
  9. Loop Linen Thread through the hole of the tag.
  10. Adhere this tag to the front of the Night of Navy card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  11. Stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy ink onto the Very Vanilla layer.
  12. Adhere this to the inside of the Night of Navy card.
  13. Fold the card closed by inserting the DSP on the left into the Night of Navy card with the tag on the very front.

Measurements:  

  • Petal Pink: 5 1/2” x 4 1/4” & 3” x 4 1/2”
  • Basic White: 2 3/4” x 4 1/4” 
  • Country Lace DSP: 10 1/2” x 4”

Instructions:

  1. Fold the Country Lace DSP in half and burnish with a bone folder.
  2. Fold 1” of the front down and adhere the two sides together creating a pocket.
  3. Wrap the ribbon around the 1” section adhering to the backside. 
  4. Adhere this 1” section down to the card front.
  5. Adhere the DSP to the larger Petal Pink layer.
  6. Stamp the flowers across the top of the Basic White layer in Petal Pink ink.
  7. Stamp the bird in the bottom left and the sentiment in the center of the Basic White layer using Smokey Slate ink. 
  8. Adhere this Basic White layer to the smaller Petal Pink layer.
  9. Insert this layer into the pocket created in step 2.
