Stampin’ Up! Spooky Sweet Halloween card

Prepare for the spooky season by creating not-so-spooky treat-bag tags and cards. The Stampin’ UP! Spooky Halloween Bundle has stamps of a dog and cat in costume and coordinating dies to cut them out quickly. Add a die-cut haunted house, and you’ve set the scene for a cute Halloween.

Measurements:  

  • Pumpkin Pie: 4-1/4” x 11” scored at 5-1/2” and burnished with the Bone Folder, 3-5/8” x 5”, scraps for sentiment
  • DSP: 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” for background, 3-3/8” x 4-3/4” front door image as shown
  • Basic White:3” x 3”
  • Basic Black: scraps for three bats

Instructions:

  1. Using glue, adhere the background DSP to the card base then adhere the front door DSP piece to Pumpkin Pie layer. Add that layer to card front with glue.
  2. Stamp cat witch and broom with Tuxedo Memento onto Basic White. Color in with Stampin’ Blends. Die cut both. Add broom to cat’s hand with a dot of glue.
  3. Die cut bats from Basic Black scraps.
  4. Cover half of sentiment with tape or a Post-It Note, ink other half, remove mask and stamp onto Pumpkin Pie scrap. Repeat with other word. Cut both close to the word so it’s rectangular. With glue, add to card front at an angle.
  5. Add cat witch and three bats with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  6. Add three black Neutral Matte Dots.
