Stampin’ Up! Layers of Beauty

Measurements:  

  • Petunia Pop: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″  AND  approx. 3/8” x 3 3/8”
  • Designer Paper:  4″ x 5 ¼”
  • Basic White: 3 ¼” x 4 ½” die

Instructions: 

  1. Fold the Petunia Pop cardstock in half and use a Bone Folder to burnish the fold.
  2. Adhere the Designer Paper to the card.
  3. Cut out Basic White cardstock using the 2nd largest Postage Die and adhere it to the card.
  4. Stamp the flower image on Basic White cardstock using Black Memento ink.
  5. Use the #1 Layers of Beauty Decorative Mask to add Bubble Bath ink to the image with a Blending Brush.
     
  6. Use the #2 Decorative Mask to add Fresh Freesia ink to the image with a Blending Brush.
     
  7. Use the #3 Decorative Mask to add Petunia Pop ink to the image with a Blending Brush.
     
  8. Use the #4 Decorative Mask to add Lemon Lime Twist ink to the image with a Blending Brush.
     
  9. Use the #5 Decorative Mask to add Granny Apple Green ink to the image with a Blending Brush.
     
  10. Once the image has been colored, cut it out using the coordinating Die.
     
  11. Add the image to the card using Dimensionals.
  12. Tie a piece of white Baker’s Twine in a bow and add it to the card using a Mini Glue Dot.
  13. Stamp the greeting using Petunia Pop ink on the bottom of a piece of matching cardstock. Cut it out close to the top of the words, and use a paper trimmer. Cut the left and right sides close to the words, then cut the full greeting apart, as shown in the image. 
  14. Add greetings to the card using Dimensionals.
  15. Add Resin Dots.
