Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse

 Measurements

  • Petunia Pop CS: 5 ½ x 8 ½; piece for die cutting.
  • Basic White: piece for stamping and die cutting
  • Summer Splash CS: piece for die cutting; 
  • DSP: (3) 4 x 5 ¼”;

Instructions

  1. Select 3 pieces of coordinating DSP. Cut them to 4 x 5 ¼”. Stack them together and using the cutter cut as shown on the diagram.
  2. Select a piece of different shapes from each pattern. You will get 3 combinations. Adhere the DSP to the card base leaving a small gap between pieces. Set aside.
  3. Die cut a circle. Stamp a sentiment on the top portion of the circle in petunia pop ink and few splatters on the bottom in summer splash ink.
  4. Stamp flowers and a bird in memento black ink on a basic white cardstock. Color with blends. Color used for flowers: summer splash, pretty in pink and petunia pop. Bird: crumb cake and pretty in pink.
  5. Die cut stamped images. In addition, die cut following:
  • A bow and medium flower from Petunia Pop CS
  • 3 individual leaves and one double from summer splash CS.
  1. Trim the top part of the bow and adhere it to the top of the circle. Add flowers with dimensionals, adhere leaves, and petunia pop flowers. Add a bird with a dimensional above the flowers.
  2. Add a circle to the center of the card with dimensionals.
  3. Add gems to the center of the flowers.
  4. Repeat with other 2 cards. Pick different card base color and sentiment for slightly different look.
