March Tutorial: Lovely Arrangements

Measurements:

Basic White Thick: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.
DSP: 3/4 x 4
Basic White: 3 3/4 x 5, enough for scallop, label, flower, and leaves, scrap for die cutting stencil

Instructions:

Using a stencil cut from the background die, a blending brush, and Cloud Cover ink. Stencil the background onto the Basic White layer. Use the blending brush to add more Cloud Cover over the stenciling.
Use the Cloud Cover blends to add speckles to your card. Attach this piece to the card base.
Using Secret Sea ink stamp flowers and a sentiment onto Basic White cardstock, and cut out with dies.
Using the blending brush and Old Olive ink, add ink to a piece of Basic White cardstock. Cut leaves out of this piece.
Cut out a scallop from Basic White cardstock. Attach the DSP strip to the card base.
Attach leaves, flowers, and sentiment to the card base
Tie a bow using Baker’s twine and attach to the card base.
Add some dots to your card.

Measurements:

Secret Sea: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4 plus scallop from die.
DSP: 4 x 5 1/4 plus scrap for leaves
Basic White: 4 x 5 1/4 (inside), 2 1/2 x 3 1/2, enough for label and flower, scrap for die cutting stencil

Instructions:

Attach DSP to the card layer.
Using a scrap of Basic White and the background die cut out a stencil. Use the stencil, blending brush, and 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 piece of Basic White. Blend Cloud Cover ink onto card stock. Attach a snippet of Cloud Cover ribbon to this layer
Using a scrap of Secret Sea card stock and the scallop die cut out the die. Cut off one row of scallops and attach to the Stenciled Basic White. Attach to card base with dimensionals,
Stamp flower and sentiment with Secret Sea ink on Basic White card stock. Use the flower and label die to cut out the images.
Cut leaves from the DSP and the leave dies.
Attach the leaves and flowers to the Stenciled layer.
Tie baker’s twine through the hole in the label and tie to the Cloud Cover ribbon.
Add some dots to your card.

Use the Cloud Cover blends to add speckles to your card. Attach Secret Sea DSP to the Basic White layer.
Attach the scallop to the strip of DSP and attach it to the Basic White layer. Tie Baker’s twine around the layer and tie into a bow. Attach to the card base.
Stamp flowers, leaves, and the sentiment in Secret Sea and Old Olive inks, then cut out with dies.
Color two flowers with Cloud Cover blends. Attach stamped images to the card base. I used one dimensional on the top flower.
Cut out stamped sentiment and attach to card base.
Use the Cloud Cover blends to speckle the card.
Add some dots to your card.

Instructions :

Adhere the two pieces of DSP to card front using Liquid Glue, overlapping slightly.
On the panel of Basic White Cardstock, stamp two large flowers. Then, stamp one small flower. Finally, use the Secret Sea Ink to stamp the sentiment.
Die-cut the stamped images. Use the remaining piece of Basic White to die cut one large and one small detailed leaf.
Tuck one leaf behind one of the large flowers, then adhere it to the card front with glue.
Use dimensionals to pop up the two remaining flowers and the double-detailed leaf die cut. Refer to card photo for placement.
Adhere a piece of the Secret Sea Ribbon to the lower section of the card. Then, add the sentiment panel using Dimensionals.
Add Moody Palette Glossy Dots to embellish and finish the card.
